Founded in Policoro, in the province of Matera, in 1984, we have become a leading reference point for metalworking and manufacturing, including large-scale projects such as gates, formwork, cold storage units, greenhouses, and agricultural equipment.
Our processing plant, located in the Metapontino area, covers an area of over 3,000 square meters, with a vast storage area for finished products ready for shipment or installation.
In the early years after its establishment by Antonio Carrera, the core business was exclusively focused on greenhouses and steel semi-finished products. In 2007, with the arrival of his children Giusi, Rocco, and Giovanna, the product range expanded, and new sectors were created related to steel processing, sheet metal work, gates, and fencing.
Our consolidated professionalism, careful selection of raw materials, forward-thinking approach, innovation, and punctual delivery have allowed us, over these 40 years of entrepreneurial activity, to become one of the leading companies in the iron and steel processing sector, with clients throughout Italy, from north to south.
Located in an area with a strong agricultural vocation, we have decided to specialize in the primary sector, aiming to provide effective traditional and/or innovative solutions to agricultural companies, to facilitate field work.
We have thus designed and manufactured multi-row off-ground strawberry systems and the ideal <<ombrello>> structure for kiwis, which have quickly become the distinctive elements of Combimetal Carrera.
The introduction of new machinery and technologies useful for the industrial process and the constant expansion of our workforce have allowed us to remain a young and modern entrepreneurial reality, while maintaining the ethical, moral, and social values typical of the past.
